I. Introduction  
In order to thoroughly implement President Xi Jinping’s profound discourse and guiding principles on Traditional Chinese Medicine, and to enhance the Belt and Road Forum for Traditional Chinese Medicine Development’s service to international exchange and cooperation in Traditional Chinese Medicine, thereby contributing to the construction of a global community of health for all, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine plans to hold the 6th Belt and Road Forum for Traditional for Chinese Medicine Development in Beijing on September 6, 2023, as the summit forum of the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services.
With the theme ‘Deepening Cooperation of Belt and Road Traditional Chinese Medicine Development and Jointly Creating a Global Community of Health for All’, the forum mainly includes a welcoming dinner, opening ceremony, and keynote speeches. The forum will be held both online and offline; and will extend invitations to domestic and government officials, Nobel laureates, ambassadors to China, academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as representatives of entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and conduct discussions on the topics of the forum, promoting exchanges and cooperation along the Belt and Road countries and regions in the field of TCM.
To promote the knowledge of TCM and to present TCM to the world, the forum is dedicated to promoting international cooperation in TCM, facilitating exchanges among people, and making TCM a ‘Health Convoy’ to the world. It also aims to promote the high-quality development of the TCM industry; and contribute to the construction of a ‘Healthy China’ and the health of people worldwide.
